In this site you can download augmented reality applications designed to improve students learning in Geometry. We designed and developed two augmented reality learning tools: ARGeo and ARGeoITS.
ARGeo is an augmented reality marker-based learning tool, with emphasis on practicing geometry, specifically, learning to calculate the area of the base and volume of a regular prism, the sum of volumes of two regular prisms, the relationship between a body and a geometric plane, and the identification of the cut sections that a cylinder or a cone can have when making a parallel, perpendicular or oblique cut, either to the base or the generatrix. It is designed for secondary school students.
Download ARGeo About ARGeoARGeoITS is an intelligent tutor system based on ARGeo designed for students to practice basic geometry concepts and promote an effective learning experience. The learning tool includes a fuzzy logic engine, which adapts the tutor to the students' performance, based on AR technology. In addition, it facilitates student visualization of the geometric shapes required for the learning activities.
